We're PIVOTING to a Free Community Walk! Register at zbclink.org/stp2025

Unfortunately, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the research talk and reception components of our Steps Toward Prevention event. This decision was made due to an unfortunate and unforeseen logistical challenge that impacted a critical component of the program.

Although we’re disappointed that our original event with a research talk won’t take place, our mission is too important to pause. We’re excited to announce a new, free opportunity for you to connect with our work.

We plan to host a Free Steps Toward Prevention Community Walk with naturalist Renee Cormier from Point Blue Conservation Science at Commonweal in Bolinas on the same date, Sunday, October 26th, at a new time, 2:00 PM!

This walk is a perfect way to directly engage with our mission of prevention and enjoy the beautiful natural surroundings of Marin County. Both exercise and the stress reduction of being in nature reduce risk of breast cancer and recurrence, so together we will join to take steps toward prevention and our own health.
Donations to support our critical mission are highly encouraged and greatly appreciated but completely optional!

Dr. Badal is at the forefront of studying how everyday chemical exposures could influence breast cancer risk—and Zero Breast Cancer joins her on a mission to make this critical research accessible to everyone.
