Peer Wellness Center The Mission of PEER Wellness Center is to put a positive face on recovery and reduce the impact of mental health and substance use disorders in our community.

The PEER Wellness Center is Ada County's Recovery Community Center (RCC). What is a Recovery Community Center? A Recovery Community Center (RCC) is a resource for skill-building education, information, support and socialization for those in recovery and their loved ones. It makes real the belief that recovery from mental illness and substance abuse is possible. The basis for available services and

programming through an RCC are Peer-Based Recovery Support Services (P-BRSS). These are non-clinical services that focus on removing barriers and providing invaluable resources to those who are seeking to achieve and maintain long-term recovery. Peer-driven and peer-delivered support services are fueled by the energy of volunteers who seek to share their experience and knowledge with others. The support offered is not meant to replace treatment, Twelve-Step support or other Mutual Aid support groups. PEER Wellness Center recognizes multiple pathways to recovery.

Your Voice Matters: Help Shape National Recovery Policy!

Faces & Voices of Recovery urges everyone in the recovery community—people in recovery, recovery organizations, and support providers—to share your input on federal addiction and mental health policy.

The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services is seeking public comments to shape the Great American Recovery Initiative. Submit your feedback by July 5, 2026, and help ensure our voices are heard in policymaking!
