“Operation Holiday Hope” sign ups are live through July 15th! Don’t wait, we don’t know if we’ll have the capacity to add more families.

Also announcing “Stockings & Solidarity”, we know not everyone can sponsor a whole family, but how about making a stocking for a neighbor, or a teacher, or your favorite grocery store employee?

Happy Father’s Day to all of the dads out there today. 💙

Today, we celebrate every kind of father figure, the dads who have been there since day one, the fathers who stepped up when they didn’t have to, the bonus dads, stepdads, adoptive dads, foster dads, grandpas raising grandchildren, uncles, mentors, and all of the men who have chosen to show up, love fiercely, and provide support when it was needed most.

We also celebrate our trans dads, single dads, pet dads and every father navigating parenthood in a way that may not always be recognized by the world around them. Your love, dedication, and presence matter.

Fatherhood isn’t defined by biology alone. It’s found in the late nights, the sacrifices, the guidance, the patience, the protection, and the countless moments of choosing to be there, over and over again.

We know today can also be complicated for many. To those grieving a father, missing a child, longing to become a father, or carrying complicated relationships, we see you too. There is space for your feelings today.

To every person who has answered the call to love, protect, and nurture another human being: thank you.

It’s that time of year again… Happy Mother’s Day to all of the could-have-been’s, would-have-been’s, the bio moms, the bonus moms, and those who will be someday.

Happy Mother’s Day to the older sisters and brothers who stepped into the parent role, the dads who became both parents, and every person who has ever had to be “the mom” when someone needed one.

Mother’s Day can be an all-inclusive holiday. If you’ve ever stepped up, sacrificed, nurtured, protected, guided, comforted, or carried others through this life, this day belongs to you too.

We see you. We know the work you’ve put in, even when it went unnoticed. And even if “mom” was never your title on paper, your love and labor still mattered.

Take some time today to appreciate the “mom” figures in your life. Everyone deserves love on a day like today. We’re all in this together, and sometimes the most important roles are the ones people step into rather than the ones they’re given.

So with that being said, even on a day that isn’t always happy, make it yours, because we’ve all had that role at one point or another.

Support during a Housing and Food Crisis

We’re currently raising funds to support two of our community members who are facing urgent housing and food insecurity. Both individuals are seniors living on limited means, and they do not have the resources or support systems needed to safely navigate these challenges on their own. This is where we step in to support a vulnerable population, and we give back to the people that raised us.

This fundraiser will help provide immediate relief, covering essential needs like food, stable shelter, and basic living expenses, while we work toward longer-term solutions. Any support makes a meaningful difference in helping ensure their safety, dignity, and well-being during this critical time.

To clarify, these funds are being split between 2 households.

Neighbors helping Neighbors. Humanity at its finest.

Today, we took a stand at the Anne Frank Memorial, one of the true hearts of Boise.

This space represents remembrance, reflection, and the responsibility we all carry to confront hate wherever it exists. It’s a place that reminds us how silence allows injustice to grow, and how ordinary people choosing courage can change the course of a community.

Standing there felt deeply symbolic. It’s where the idea of taking a stand first took root for many of us. The understanding that neutrality in the face of hate is not peace, and that protecting our neighbors requires action. And it’s also where we reaffirmed something just as important: that hate does not get the final word here.

We gathered not in anger, but in solidarity. Not divided by politics, background, or belief, but united by a shared commitment to humanity, dignity, and community care.

At the Anne Frank Memorial, we honored the past while making a promise for the present.

Boise will continue to be a place where people stand up for one another, speak out against injustice, and refuse to let fear or hatred define who we are.

This is where taking a stand began.

And this is where we continue putting an end to hate.
