700 trees found their new homes yesterday! Thanks to everyone who came out to adopt their new trees, wait in line, and support the work of Trees Idaho.

🌼🚲 🌳Explore Boise’s biggest and most remarkable trees at the Dandelion Festival!

Join Trees Idaho on Saturday, June 20 for a guided bike tour through Boise’s historic East End neighborhood. Along the way, we’ll visit champion trees, the largest, oldest, and most impressive trees in the area, and share the stories behind them. Learn what species they are, how long they’ve been part of the neighborhood, and the many ways they continue to benefit our community.

You might discover a tree you’ve walked past hundreds of times and see it in a whole new way.

📍 Meet at the Trees Idaho booth in the main Dandelion Festival area at Kristin Armstrong Municipal Park

Bike Tour Times:
• 3:00 PM
• 5:00 PM

⏱️ Tours will last 45–60 minutes and cover 2–3 miles on paved streets and bike paths.

🌳Limited to 20 riders per tour
🌳Ages 10+ with a guardian
🌳Helmets required

The Dandelion Festival is a free, family-friendly celebration of sustainability, community, local food, music, art, and hands-on activities hosted by our friends at . 🌳 Treasure Valley, trees are back! 🌳

Join Trees Idaho on Saturday, June 13 at the Boise Farmers Market for a 700-tree giveaway, made possible by our partners at the Arbor Day Foundation and Subaru of America.

Open to everyone, no matter what city you call home. Come pick out a tree for your yard and help grow Idaho’s community canopy.

Available trees include:
🍁 Red Maple
🌸 Redbud
🌷 Tuliptree
🌳 Kousa Dogwood

All trees will be in 1 gallon pots and between 3-4 feet tall. These trees typically retail for $45, and we’re asking for a suggested donation of $10 to help support future tree giveaways and planting programs.

Trees Idaho staff and volunteers will be on-site with planting tips and ready to answer questions.

First come, first served while supplies last! A portion of the trees will be available through the Boise Farmers Market Drive-Thru Market.

🌳 Big thanks to our friends at Enterprise Mobility and the Arbor Day Foundation for helping make Saturday’s tree planting at Rocky Mountain High School possible!

With an incredible crew of volunteers from Enterprise Mobility, we planted trees that will grow alongside students for years to come, bringing more shade, cleaner air, and a greener campus to Meridian.

This planting is part of Enterprise’s 50 Million Tree Pledge, and we’re grateful to help bring that impact here to Idaho.

What a weekend! 🌳🌳🌳

Thanks to our partners at the Arbor Day Foundation and State Farm Insurance, Trees Idaho distributed 100 trees to the Coeur d’Alene community last Saturday.

These trees were made possible in response to the severe windstorm that impacted the area in December 2025, and they’ll continue to provide benefits for years to come.

A huge thank you to all of our volunteers and to the many new friends who came out to pick up a tree for their homes. We’re grateful to be growing a stronger, greener Coeur d’Alene together. 🏡

We’re halfway to our goal, help us get the rest of the way 🌳

Because of supporters like you, Trees Idaho is working with K–12 schools across Idaho to bring community forestry into the classroom (and outside it). Last year alone, nearly 900 students gained hands-on experience caring for and learning about the trees at their own schools.

Through programs like TreeQuest, in partnership with the Boise School District, students and educators are mapping their school’s trees, planning for future tree plantings, and taking real climate action right where they are.

Thanks to supporters like you, Trees Idaho has helped plant and distribute over 22,000 urban trees (like this oak in Meridian!) and 235,000 forest seedlings in the Boise National Forest.
