Huge shoutout to our WIC Week Committee for putting together such a great week of events! The turnout has been awesome, and it’s been so fun seeing everyone connect.
Let’s finish the week strong! 🎉 Join us Friday night at 6:00 PM for Happy Hour at Vine Wine Shop & Lounge on Maple Grove in Boise. Come relax, catch up, and celebrate a great WIC Week together. Snacks will be provided and alcohol will be on your own.
PLEASE NOTE: You do not need to attend pickleball to come to happy hour—it’s a standalone event and everyone is welcome!

NAWIC Boise is saddened and heartbroken by the news of the tragic loss of Amber Czech—a young tradeswoman at the beginning of a promising career as a welder in Minneapolis. Her life was taken at her workplace.
NAWIC is built on sisterhood, support, and solidarity. Moments like this remind us why our mission matters: to uplift, unite, and protect all women in every workplace. Our chapter remains committed to strengthening our community and advocating for the safety, dignity, and well-being of every woman in the trades.
Please—if you see something, say something. We must look out for one another.

The Wright County Sheriff's Office says a co-worker, identified as 40-year-old David Bruce Delong, hit the victim multiple times with a sledgehammer.
