HIDDEN SPRINGS SWIM CLUB

The Hidden Springs Swim Club season gets underway on Thursday 5/28 from 4-6pm with a kick-off event and swimmer skills assessment. The pool will be closed for the event.

Practices will be held at South Meadow Pool, Monday through Thursday mornings from 9am until 12pm, 6/1 through 7/23.
The South Meadow Pool will also be closed Saturday 6/13 from 6am to 2pm for a club swim meet and again at the end of the season for an awards ceremony 7/28 time TBD.
Please Note: The South Meadow Pool is unavailable for other uses during this time.

OPEN TOWN COUNCIL DIRECTOR'S POSITION:

A Director has recently stepped down from Town Council due to increasing professional demands and obligations. Pursuant to the Amended & Restated Bylaws, Article 4, Section 4.3 Powers and Duties, Town Council will appoint a replacement. The appointed position will serve through the end of 2026.

Please note that candidates must be members in good standing with the Association to be eligible for consideration.

One of the Hopkins landscape crew members had their backpack blower go missing today around 1:00pm from the the grass strip area near Hidden Springs Dr. and Miner's Farm Dr., across from South Meadow Park.

If anyone should see it, please contact the town office and we'll pick it up or please drop it off at the office. (208-229-2324.)

Subject: Operations Manager Transition Update

Dear Hidden Springs Community,

Our Operations Manager, Chuck Vertrees, has decided to move on to new adventures and embrace full-time retirement. Chuck has been an integral part of the Hidden Springs community, and we sincerely appreciate his hard work, commitment, and the positive impact he has made.

To ensure a thorough and professional hiring process for this important position (overseeing day-to-day operations, facilities, and community infrastructure) within our community, the Town Council has established a small interview group that includes council representation and staff leadership. This approach allows us to evaluate candidates consistently, maintain confidentiality, and move efficiently through the process.

While the hiring decision will be made by the Town Council in coordination with management, we recognize the value of community perspective. To that end, before initiating recruitment, we have considered all community priorities and operational needs to help shape the role and candidate profile. We appreciate the input and feedback shared by residents over time, which has helped inform this process.

As we move forward, candidate information will remain confidential, which is standard practice in professional hiring processes. Once a candidate has been selected, we will share an announcement with the community.

We appreciate your understanding and support as we work to bring on a strong addition to the team who will serve the needs of our beloved Hidden Springs Community.
