Idaho Chinese Organization

04/22/2026

Had a great time volunteering at the Idaho Foodbank this past Saturday!

It was a rewarding morning spent sorting food and helping out a local organization that does so much for our community. Grateful for everyone who showed up to lend a hand and for the team at the Foodbank for having us.
Always good to give back to the Treasure Valley.

Looking for a fun, cultural experience for the whole family? Come join us at our Lunar New Year event and dive into the world of traditional Chinese crafts! 🐉✨

We have a wonderful lineup of hands-on activities that the kids (and the young at heart!) will absolutely love:

Traditional Chinese Lanterns: Brighten up your home with these beautiful symbols of luck and prosperity. 🏮

Felt Hanging Decorations: Get creative with soft, colorful felt to make your own festive "Fu" signs and symbols like the lucky goldfish and oranges! 🍊🐟

Shadow Play Characters: Step into the world of folklore! Meet the legendary characters from Journey to the West and learn the ancient art of Chinese shadow puppetry. 🎭

It’s the perfect way to embrace the culture, get a little crafty, and make some lasting memories together. We can’t wait to see what you create!
