Model Builders! young and old, far and wide!

We are less than 24 hours from the 25TH Annual Model Contest and we the IPMS Reno "High Rollers" and the National Automobile Museum are looking forward to seeing many of you tomorrow for what is shaping up to be a fantastic day.

Doors will open at 9AM.

Please make sure that you state you are there for the model contest to pay the discounted admission fee of $10.00. You will have full access to the museum exhibits, the contest and will be provided a wrist bad and 2 free raffle tickets.

This year we will have 11 vendors attending so bring cash!

A food truck will be onsite at lunchtime. Drinks and snacks can also be purchased form the museum canteen.

We will have 2 raffles that additional raffle tickets can be purchased for. The first before lunchtime and the second during judging.

If entering models in the contest:

1st Model $6.00, each model after is $1.00.

Awards Ceremony will be at 3PM.

Show will end at 4PM for cleanup.

The weather will be an excellent low to mid 70's making for an excellent drive!

We are looking forward to seeing everyone tomorrow for a fantastic day of seeing great models and meeting up with friend!

Two 25 mm rivets from a torsion bar holder of a KV-1S Soviet heavy tank from World War II, about 3 ¼ inches long. They will be auctioned separately. Great to display on their own, or as part of a Soviet tank model. Recovered and generously donated to us by The Australian Armour & Artillery Museum; find them at www.ausarmour.com.

Donations
Give the kits you’ll never build new life by donating them! This allows us to keep our meetings and events free for everyone and not charge dues. Now gratefully accepting the following auction donations:
- Factory-sealed model kits, tools, equipment, and supplies
- Open model kits that are unstarted and complete with all parts, decals, instructions, etc.
- Used modeling tools and equipment that are in good working order
- Open paint, cement, and other supplies that are at least ¾ full/complete and usable (not dried-out or separated), and properly sealed
- Please put a note on the top of kits with extra decals, resin, photo etch, etc.
- Please, no kits with parts or materials missing or that have been started
Donations may be dropped off at the start of the auction, or at any of our meetings (every 1st Thursday and 3rd Tuesday, 6:30–8:30 pm at 4828 NE 33rd Ave. in Portland, or reach out on Facebook). Cash is also accepted.

Good morning model builders young and old far and wide! We are only 7 days, yes 7 days from the 25TH Annual Model Contest!!!

When: Saturday September 26th, 9am to 4pm.

Where: National Automobile Museum 1 Museum Drive Reno, Nevada.

Museum Entrance: Please say you are at the museum for the model contest to be granted the special admission price of $10. This admission price grants access to the entire museum and the model contest as a spectator as well as 2 raffle tickets. You will be provided a wrist band as well.

Model Contest: For those choosing to enter models into the contest, $6.00 for the 1st model, $1.00 for each additional model afterward.

To speed contest sign in and wait times, this year the IPMS "Reno High Rollers" have entry forms that can be filled out prior to arriving for those who choose to so:

This form when filled out prepopulates the entry form for the Chapter's records and information tags to be displayed with each model. The Chapter will have a paper cutter to separate individual information tabs on the day of the contest. If entering more than 8 models into the contest you will need to fill out a second entry form.

Vendors and Raffles:

This year 7 vendors are scheduled to attend and new this year the Chapter will have its own table with kits to sell. Furthermore we will have 2 raffles. 1 in the morning in the morning before lunch time and 1 in the afternoon during judging.

Other: snacks and beverages can be purchased from the museum canteen, additionally a food truck will be on location during lunch time.

The IPMS Reno "High Rollers" are looking forward to seeing everyone join us next Saturday to see great models and friends!!!
