Today, Go Team Therapy Dogs celebrates the incredible senior citizens in our community, who have shared a lifetime of wisdom, kindness, and love.

Our therapy dogs are honored to bring smiles, comfort, companionship, and a little extra tail-wagging joy!

🔥🐾 Thank You, Team Chloe! 🐾🔥

There is something powerful about rising up—again and again—with courage, strength, and heart. That spirit is seen every day in the firefighters who continue to answer the call, no matter how long the days or how difficult the work.

We are incredibly grateful to Team Chloe for traveling to Utah to support the dedicated men and women at the fire camps. Team Chloe brought comfort, smiles, encouragement, and plenty of love to those working tirelessly on the front lines. ❤️

Thank you, Team Chloe, for showing up to lift spirits and remind these incredible firefighters that their courage, sacrifice, and service are seen and deeply appreciated.

Meet our President of the Board of Directors

Cheryl Minto

Cheryl wasn’t born in Idaho, but she got there as quick as she could after a 24-year career in the Air Force as a maintainer and logistician. She has a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Southern California, an Masters of Science in Management from Troy State University and an Masters of Science in National Security and Resource Strategy from National Defense University. Cheryl joined Go Team in 2018 with her Rough Collie, Winston, and loves bringing smiles to the community. She also volunteers as an EMT in her rural county and helps maintain and manage the administration of her local Catholic Church – St Joseph’s Catholic Chapel in Idaho City. Cheryl and her husband, Pat, enjoy traveling, mountain biking, hiking and just enjoying Idaho’s beautiful outdoors. Cheryl and her Go Team Therapy Dogs Winston have completed over 900 volunteer visits!

🐾 TEAM CHAOS IS HEADED TO UTAH 🐾💙

Team Chaos will travel to Fillmore, Utah, where they’ll spend the next couple of days supporting the Widemouth 2 Fire camps following the heartbreaking loss of two helicopter crew members.

Please pray for strength, courage, and safe travels as they walk alongside a community carrying an unimaginable loss. May Team Chaos bring comfort, peace, and love where words simply aren’t enough. Thank you Team Chaos, WE LOVE YOU! 💙🐾🙏

200 Therapy Visits ❤️🐾
Congratulations Team Sammy!!

🎉🐾 Congratulations to Team Sammy on reaching an incredible milestone of 200 visits! 🎉

Today, we celebrated Sammy's 200th visit at the Nampa Public Library! While many of these visits have occurred during our Reading Buddies program—where individuals can come read or share stories with Sammy and other therapy dogs on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM—Sammy has also made a positive impact in various other locations throughout our community.

Sammy loves chasing balls, playing fetch, and snuggling with kids, goats, and humans alike. Thank you, Sammy, for 200 visits filled with kindness and care, making a difference everywhere you go! A HUGE thank you to his handler, Shell, for all the dedication and love!

The mission of GO TEAM is to train handler-dog teams to provide relief, care, and assistance to those in need. Their certified therapy dog teams serve in a variety of settings, including assisted living homes, libraries, schools, airports, and hospitals, offering comfort to those in distress.

Here’s to many more visits of joy and support! 🐶💖
