Moonsong Malamute Rescue, Inc As an affiliate to AMAL, MMR operates under AMAL's code of ethics.

Moonsong Malamute Rescue is a non-profit organization of volunteers dedicated to assisting Alaskan Malamutes and Mal-A-Nuff dog when in crisis in Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, Utah and N Nevada. We are affiliated with the Alaskan Malamute Assistance League (AMAL), which is the national rescue organization recognized by the Alaskan Malamute Club of America. We offer educational material about the Alaska

n Malamute and Mal-A-Nuff dogs and can assist in resolving containment issues, are able to help an owner with appropriately re-homing their Malamute when necessary, and provide behavioral issues support in the form of referrals to trainers and other more experienced Malamute owners. Donated funds are also used to help care for Malamutes and Huskies with adoptable personalities who have been pulled from shelters, or who have been seized by authorities after having been abandoned, neglected, or abused.

Let’s play a little game called guess my breed! 🎲

Moonsong is having my DNA tested and for funsies, we want to share the guessing with the pack!

To play: donate $5 with your guess of my breed mix. The closest person to guess the correct breed mix will win half of the jackpot and the other half will be a donation to Moonsong 🐾

Deadline for guesses 6/12. Results will be posted and we’ll announce the winning guess!

Gus - Nampa, Idaho area - Friends, please keep your eyes out for Gus - a large white and gray husky / mal mix who has escaped his owner's yard. Gus has a yellow bandana on with a collar and purple tags. If you see him, please reach out to one of our board members immediately, or our email at [email protected].
