What is the RecShare Associates Program?
The RecShare Associates program allows anyone with an audience to earn money by sharing content and social media posts from RecShare.
Becoming an Associate
RecShare Associates earn money by promoting new vendor registrations and equipment rentals on RecShare. If you love to create and share outdoor content with your friends and family, you would be a great fit for the RecShare Associates program.
Getting started:
If you are not already a Vendor, follow this link to register as a RecShare Associate.
If you are a Vendor, sign in to your vendor account and select Associates from your dashboard.
Once you’ve reviewed and accepted our associate program guidelines and terms and conditions, you’ll have full access to the Associate tools. All content must comply with RecShare’s and local standards. We reserve the right to disable your account if you misuse the product.
RecShare Associate Guidelines
All associates must abide by the following guidelines:
-Be transparent about your relationship with RecShare and that we provide you compensation in exchange for promotion. When you share your content, include a clear disclosure such as, “As a RecShare Associate, I earn when you book through this link.”
-Associates are not RecShare employees and do not work under the direction of RecShare employees. Never represent yourself as an agent or employee of RecShare.
-By posting content on RecShare or on behalf of RecShare, you agree to abide by our content policy.
-Do not alter RecShare’s branding. Do not use any other RecShare trademarks or copyrighted materials.
-Do not hide links, widgets, or pages.
-Only share program content directly to your followers on your personal sites or social media.
-Do not run paid advertisements in print or digital format. Do not bid on RecShare keywords or arbitrage RecShare’s audience.
-Do not book through your own links. You will not receive a payout for your own reservation.
Associate Tools
Associate dashboards are equipped with detailed tracking analytics and a unique URL generator. To use the generator, simply copy a URL from any RecShare page, registration form, product, store, etc., and paste it into the generator. Your unique link will be created automatically. You can then share this link on your website, embed it into widgets, email campaigns, and social media posts.
Performance analytics are updated daily but may experience delays from 24 hours up to 7 days.
Payments and Payouts
As an associate, you’ll be paid 10% of the total RecShare rental cost every time someone books an item through your link. You will also be paid 10% every time someone books an item from a Vendor that signed up using your registration referral link.
How you make money:
Someone rents any item on RecShare using your unique referral link.
A Vendor signs up through your referral link and any item is rented from their store.
Your earning will appear in your Associate account once the reservation has been completed. Payouts typically happen every two weeks upon a completed reservation. In order for you to be paid, you’ll need to set up a payment method.
