Compton Traditional Bowhunters

Another of our original organizational supporters is none other than the Compton Traditional Bowhunters. We appreciate their continuing support and we hope that you will all support them as well. They do great things for our kids and families as well as the hardcore traditional bowhunters. Just a reminder that anyone can submit a nomination for induction into the TBHOF. We ask that you have a present or past board member of a traditional bowhunting group, club or organization look the application over. It's a relatively simple process. All you need to do is check out our website at traditionalbowhuntershof.org and then you can download or print the application form and questions, fill them out and send it back to us at the address provided. It might be even easier if you would ask the nominee (if possible) to fill in the blanks, so to speak, so nothing gets left out of their nomination information. We have a few more weeks before nominations are closed for this year and we look forward to hearing from you!

Wouldn't it be great to see the name of a worthy friend or mentor on a poster for the Class of 2026? The process can be as simple as printing the candidate questionnaire from our web page, and answering a few of the questions so that our Board and Electors can get to know them. (And for what it's worth, there's nothing wrong with asking the candidate to fill out his own questionnaire . After all, who would be the most likely to have all the info at his/her fingertips?) Step two is just as easy. Simply ask a current or past Board member of a national or local bowhunting organization to submit the nomination.

The traditional bowhunting family has recently lost some of our brothers. 😔 Dennis Filippelli passed very suddenly last week. His family has requested that folks consider donating to their favorite charity. One of our FAQ's has been, "When can I nominate someone for the Traditional Bowhunters Hall of Fame?" The answer is, NOW! Our nomination period is open until the deadline, which is June 1. That's coming up soon so don't delay! For more information, please visit our website at: tradbowhuntershof.org . Click on Inductees, then "How to nominate someone", then scroll down to "download this document", which is the nomination form. You can also see the form on the website, but you should download it so that you can have it to refer to when filling out all of the questions.
