Pioneer Toastmasters

Pioneer Toastmasters Everyone is welcome to attend our 6-7:30pm meeting. We are a very positive and supportive group! Come visit us!!! http://www.district15speaks.org/

Since 1924, Toastmasters International has helped millions of men and women become more confident in front of an audience. Our network of clubs and their learn-by-doing program are sure to help you become a better speaker and leader. Why pay thousands of dollars for a seminar when you can join a Toastmasters club for a fraction of the cost and have fun in the process? Toastmasters will give you th

e skills and confidence you need to effectively express yourself in any situation. Whether you are a professional, student, stay-at-home parent or retiree, Toastmasters is the most efficient, enjoyable and affordable way of gaining great communication skills. By learning to effectively formulate and express your ideas, you open an entirely new world of possibilities. You’ll be more persuasive and confident when giving presentations, and you’ll improve your one-on-one dealings with others. Pioneer Toastmasters members come from many walks of life but we have one thing in common... we all are here to improve our confidence in leadership and speaking skills.

6-25-25 Meeting. Last toastmaster meeting of the Toastmaster year, and we had a blast at our summer party in Julia Davis park! Scott gave a marvelous speech recapping the year with Darby evaluating him and Josh was fun as Toastmaster with the help of his little dog. The food was great and it actually wasn't too hot under the pavilion we had reserved. Kudos to Chuck and Brian for cooking the hotdogs and burgers! Sameer did an excellent job inducting the incoming officers, he's going to be an amazing District Director this next year, and I can't believe we have THREE of our members who will be area directors...this club is a leadership generating powerhouse!

Officers don't forget training tomorrow via zoom starting at 9 a.m.!

6-18-25 Meeting - Last regular meeting of the Toastmaster year! Two great speeches from Dana and Paul, with Paul winning the best speaker with his impromptu speaking assignment. Brian gave an excellent evaluation of DJ's speech, winning himself the best evaluator ribbon. Our guest John won best table topics. The theme on setting and achieving goals certainly resonated with our club with so many of us working the program which got us to President's Distinguished.

Remember next week we'll be at Julia Davis Park...message me if you didn't get the sign up list or the map! Also remember if you're an officer or just curious about eventually being an officer that training is June 28th starting at 9 a.m. via zoom...everyone should have received a message from the district with the link.

Mark your calendar for June 25th at our normal meeting time! We were able to reserve a pavillion at Julia Davis park for our summer party. The map and a sign up sheet for side dishes will arrive in your email shortly so be on the lookout!

5-28-25 Meeting - Two great speeches from Nathan and Paul with Nathan taking home the best speaker ribbon! I had the theme of National Creativity day (which is actually celebrated today, I just loved the theme and wanted to celebrate early!) and Gigi had some fantastic table topics with Greg taking home the ribbon. Mackenzie gave an excellent evaluation to earn the best evaluator ribbon. Be sure and come next week as we need a quorum to vote in our new officers for next year! Also put June 25 on your calendar as our summer party will be held that day in Ann Morrison park at our regular meeting time. The Pioneer club gift basket was very popular at our conference, thanks to all who donated!
