Meet Anton a 16 year old from Germany 🇩🇪 who plays the saxophone and is interested in music.

Note to My Host Family: I am friendly and open-minded to other people, so I normally have not problems to find new friends. I am fond of animals - we have two cats and I have been riding for several years. I like to be in nature, to do excursions/camping with family or friends. In the future I can imagine to study law or to become a teacher.

Note to My Host Family: As a person, I will describe myself as happy, positive, and emotionally stable. I always try to see the best in a situation. I am social, curious, and good at making friends. I consider myself as an honest, mature and ambitious person. I am creative and active, and I love most kinds of sports and activities. Especially watersports such as kitesurfing, windsurfing and paddle surfing. I enjoy skiing and snowboarding. I also love to bake and decorate cakes in my spare time. I have a broad set of interests and could easily see myself as a medical doctor or journalist in the future.

Note to My Host Family: I am responsible and autonomous, always in a good mood and smiling, sometimes a little shy but as soon as I am confident, it gets better. I like communicating with others, organizing events, holidays... I am studious and very independent and organized in my work. I like participating in the life of the house, for me family is very important. I am sporty and like to practice all sports but especially cross-fit and volleyball.

CHANGE YOUR WORLD BY HOSTING AN EXCHANGE STUDENT
Nonprofit seeks volunteer host families for foreign exchange students.

Pan Atlantic Foundation the well-respected, nonprofit student exchange organization, seeks volunteer host families to host exchange students for the 2021-2022 school year. Each year, Pan Atlantic Foundation provides over 350 exchange students from many countries, the opportunity to study in local public high schools for a five-month semester or a 10-month Academic High School Year program.

Host families make all of the difference, they influence a young adult’s life, change worldviews, and make dreams come true. When a host family is so willing to give, they have just as many rewarding and enriching experiences as the student.

Volunteer host families come from varied economic, religious and racial backgrounds and include working parents, empty nesters, singles and single parents. They are to provide:

• Open communication, encouragement, patience and sound advice
• A separate bed, which can be in a shared room with a host sibling of similar age and same gender, and a quiet place to study
• Three daily meals
• Local transportation (students are not permitted to drive while on the program)
• Treatment as a member of the family, which may include household rules, responsibilities and privileges.

Note to My Host Family: I'm very social, open-minded, kind and a family/friends person. I like to be active doing all kind of things e.g. gymnastics and work out in the gym. I love to meet new people and cultures because I am interested in the world around me. At the moment I'm interested in studying law, sociology or anthropology.

Note to My Host Family: Dear future host family! My name is Selma, I’m a fifteen years old. I like meeting new people. Even though I’m a shy person. In the beginning of meeting me I will be really shy, but the more I get to know you the more comfortable I become and I become less shy. Other than that I’m a open minded person, I also like trying new things. I’m a helpful person and I also respect other people. I’m a pretty easy-going person. I’m also really hardworking and always do my homework in time and try to do the best I can in school. I don’t really have any future plans about what I want to work with. I’m usually a quiet person, but I can also be a really talkative person. I would also say I’m a pretty brave person, because I’m going on an exchange year and I don’t know we’re I’m ending up. But hopefully with a really good family. On my spare time I play soccer and hopefully I will continue playing. Volunteers wanted!

I'm looking for families interested in hosting an exchange student for the upcoming 2020-2021 academic year.

Our Exchange Students come from Italy 🇮🇹 Denmark 🇩🇰 Thailand 🇹🇭 Spain 🇲🇽 Germany 🇩🇪 and South Korea 🇰🇷

Students arrive in August. You get to pick your student, by interests, country of origin, etc. They are between the ages of 15-17 years old. All you need to provide is room and board. They can even share a room. They will already be provided money for spending and medical insurance.

*You must be at least 25 years old and able to pass a background check.

Students are set to arrive soon and are still in need of a host family. We have students from several different countries.

Not sure about the 10 month commitment? Be a welcome family- short term host family (6-8 weeks) until the student moves in with their permanent family! You get to try out hosting AND the student knows they have a family to welcome them to the states! Best of both worlds!

I have school spots at Nampa High, Skyview High, Columbia High and Thomas Jefferson Charter School in Caldwell.

Katerine is 15 and from Germany 🇩🇪
She sings in the church choir, enjoys the English and French language and also studies Spanish and Italian. She wants to be a doctor or lawyer when she gets older, enjoys dancing, playing basketball and reading. Katerine plays the clarinet and is learning the piano.

Lucy is a 15 year old from South Korea 🇰🇷
She enjoys taekwondo, playing the piano and violin, is interested in foreign cultures and likes to play badminton, table tennis and billiards.

Therm is a 15 year old from Thailand 🇹🇭
He enjoys playing soccer, is a school chairman, and plays the electric guitar. Therm is open minded and enjoys learning new things. Wants to be a doctor.
