Once again the board continues to wantonly spend the members money to cover from their ineptness.

The board President lacks the ability to lead and needs to be removed.

Tonight’s scheduled board meeting was canceled. Why? Conflicting schedules…allegedly. This is the second cancellation in three months. Another month of nothing getting accomplished for the members. There is no leadership on the current board. Change is needed. If you’re not mad you’re not paying attention.

Did you know that a few members of your board (these are the same members who take money to serve on the board) spent over 7k painting a fence that was not budgeted or approved by the the whole board. More wasteful spending.

The “leadership” of the board, without actually admitting they cannot remove a board member without a meeting of the members, have admitted as much by by declaring that they will hold a special meeting. Believe not what they say, but how they behave. The “leadership” does not understand our bylaws and continues to waste our money. Demand better.

Based on the the Reserve Study release the board would like to special assess the members
$660,000 over the next three years and spend almost $650,000 on irrigation work. This is insane and makes zero sense. They want hundreds of thousands of dollars from us yet choose to continue to pay themselves. Everybody should be outraged by this.

In a January 9, 2022 email to members, the HOA board misstated our bylaws. They stated, "Please note that according to our bylaws, only the Meadow’s Board can call a special meeting or an annual meeting of the members." Not true. Our bylaws expressly state that members are allowed to call a special meeting. Article V, Section 3: "Special meetings of the members for any purpose or purposes may be called at any time by the Board of Directors or on the written request of twenty percent (20%) or more of the total outstanding membership . . . " Was the misstatement intentional and meant to thwart the owners' efforts to call a special meeting to demand the board hold an annual meeting? Hard to say.
