The 24th October, 2019 is the second year Anniversary of Boise Zen Center. Thank you for supporting Zen practice here in Boise, Idaho. I will be offering a talk here in Stanley, Idaho. On December 18, 2017, the International Dark Sky Reserve designated an area stretching across 1,400 square miles in central Idaho. It's the nation’s first International Dark Sky Reserve and one of just 12 worldwide. The area stretches from Ketchum, Sun Valley to Stanley. Some consider this is a watershed moment in the history of American conservation.
I've been coming here since I moved to Idaho in 2016. The silence is thunderous and the sky well, beyond description.
