Good afternoon all,
We have a story to share here. The Rotary Club of Boise Sunrise has worked with Hope House in Marsing for many years. And we have known for a while now that a carefully crafted succession plan was a quietly urgent need. This was deemed to be a solvable issue but we knew that it would take time and a LOT of creative thinking to achieve the aspirational results we were aiming for.
Numerous club members had skills that could be leveraged to assist this critical transition. And, after telling all of you about the spectacular results associated with our Lobsterfest fundraisers in other posts, now we could tell you how a healthy chunk of those funds were put to use.
The attached is a terrific story. There were a lot of subtle details that needed to be invented on the fly but the results are extremely promising. And our good friends at Idaho Partners for Good (IP4G) now have a model of unique effectiveness that they are bringing to the consultation work they are currently doing with other nonprofits.
We are excited to see the path that Hope House is now on. A new team is in place and by all accounts, they are humming and executing and understanding their jobs in service to this important nonprofit in Marsing. We are proud to leave it better than we found it in this manner. BRAVO! to everyone who made this story a reality
This is a good story. Enjoy the read...
