Our goal is to contribute to the growth and knowledge of quilting through educational and social activities, and to assist our community through guild outreach activities. Boise Basin Quilters is Idaho’s largest Guild embracing some 300+ members who are excited about quilt-making from piecing and quilting to sharing, collecting and conservation. BBQ is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

At this month's guild meeting, explore characteristics of Modern Quilting with speaker Darla Christiansen, a Boise native and a past president of the Boise Modern Quilt Guild. Find out how a modern approach to quilting is, in many ways, a twist on tradition. The meeting will also include a slideshow of quilts that have been exhibited at QuiltCon, followed by a trunk show by members of the Boise Modern Quilt Guild.
