We’re thrilled to welcome Dwight Parry, Principal Oboe of the Cincinnati Symphony, to Boise Baroque this weekend! 🎶✨

Dwight will be featured in Bach’s Oboe d’Amore Concerto in A Major as part of ¡Masquerade!, bringing even more magic to our final concert weekend of the 2026 Summer Music Festival.

A special opportunity for Boise’s woodwind community 🎶

Join us Friday, September 4th for a masterclass with Dwight Parry, Principal Oboist of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. Presented in partnership with Boise State University, this afternoon is a chance to learn from an incredible musician and watch selected students work with him in real time.

The masterclass is free and open to the public, so whether you’re an oboist, woodwind player, music student, or simply curious to experience the learning process, we’d love to have you there. 🤍

Our final concert for the Summer is this weekend, and it's bringing a little mystery, drama, and spectacle to the stage. 🎭✨

¡Masquerade! features music by Rameau, Bach, and Purcell, including Bach’s Oboe d’Amore Concerto in A Major with Dwight Parry, Principal Oboe of the Cincinnati Symphony.

The evening closes with selections from Purcell’s Abdelazer, joined by youth dancers from Ballet Idaho for a beautiful finish to our summer season. 🎶
