Where's Lisa? She made her way to Council and City of Cambridge, Idaho as part of the Mayor's Walking Challenge. In Council, she walked with first-year mayor Gabe Wilson and city clerks Ashley Scott and Pepper Jordan. In Cambridge, it was great to see Mayor Mark Loveland again. He attended our Community Health Academy in 2025, and the city won the Community Health Champion Award in 2026.

Where's Lisa? She's spending a lot of time walking with mayors during the Mayor's Walking Challenge! She, Payette Mayor Ray Wickersham, City Council President Mike Kee, and Rosie, had a nice walk along the Payette Greenway. Did you know Payette is where the Payette and Snake Rivers intersect? We love learning on these walks, too.

We love seeing mayors walk with students! Pierce Mayor Greg Gerot walked with cadets at Idaho Youth ChalleNGe Academy, an alternative high school for students who have dropped out of high school or are at risk of dropping out. Thanks for walking and promoting physical activity!

This morning felt a little more like fall on our walk with Meridian Mayor Robert Simison. The Mayor's Walking Challenge is in full swing this month with 126 mayors across Idaho walking to promote the importance of physical activity while earning funds for their community! Our mayor joined some McCall elementary students for a few steps as part of the 13th Annual Blue Cross of Idaho Mayor’s Walking Challenge. A pretty great way to get those steps in!

Three members of our team are attending the Philanthropy Northwest conference in Anchorage this week. What a great opportunity to meet with and learn from other nonprofit funders. We look forward to bringing back new ideas that will help us build a healthier Idaho.
