On October 17, the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty, we're celebrating the power of opportunity.

Established by Alyson Townsley, the Turn Around Scholarship supports students in Boise and Meridian who have faced significant challenges beyond their control and are working hard to build a better future through education.

Our goal is 25 donors by October 17. Every gift helps students take the next step toward college and a brighter future.

πŸ™Œ to Terry Reilly Health Services, Envision Eye Care, and the Kuna Lions Club for coming together to offer a free community health screening event this Saturday - October 10.

Routine screenings can help identify potential health concerns before they become more serious, giving people the information they need to take charge of their health and well-being. Access to preventive care is one of the most important investments we can make in our long-term quality of life.

By offering this opportunity at no cost, these organizations are doing what great community partners do: removing barriers, increasing access, and helping their neighbors stay healthy.

Thank you for caring for your community and making preventive health care more accessible for everyone. πŸ’™

πŸŽ‰ DAF Day 2026 is here!

Here's how to take part:
βœ… Choose the Idaho nonprofits you'd like to support
βœ… Recommend your grant through your DAF provider. If your fund is with ICF, simply log in to your Fund Holder Portal to get started

October's Featured Nonprofit: Angel Wings Network, Inc. πŸ’™

No one should have to face cancer alone. Watch the story here: https://ow.ly/RQW450ZV3tC

For cancer patients and families in rural Idaho and Eastern Oregon, getting to treatment, putting food on the table, and finding support can be overwhelming. Angel Wings Network helps ease that burden by providing transportation assistance, fuel support, meals, comfort care packages, and compassionate support, all at no cost to the patient.

This October, we're proud to feature Angel Wings Network through KTVB's The 208 Way. Even better, thanks to the generosity of the Idaho Community Foundation and TDS Fiber, every gift will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $3,000, doubling your impact for local cancer patients and families.

πŸ’™ Help provide rides to treatment, meals, comfort, and hope. πŸ’™ Give today and make twice the difference.
