So I was able to confirm today that we have a green light with the forest service to have the jamboree and it will be at our normal location, with a few alterations because of the fires. Please be ready to come help us, this year is going to require a lot of work getting ready and seeing up. Thank you all.

Hi, I wanted to reach out and let you know about a concerning bill that just came forward in the Legislature on Friday afternoon. There is no bill number associated with it yet, but we just saw the language which would make it illegal to construct or put up a temporary hunting blind or treestand within 300 feet of a water trough or stock pond on public land in Idaho. This is one of the ways that pronghorn are hunted with archery equipment and not being able to place a blind on water would have major implications for hunting them. We don't know when this will be heard and we're not looking for people to take action yet, but we wanted to start letting people know about this and getting them ready incase things start moving and we need action taken to ensure we can still use blinds on water for hunting in Idaho. I really need to have some volunteers sign up to help with the booth at the Sportsman Show. The shifts are made to not be that imposing on anyone and I am truly doing more than my fair share. Last year I actually had to pull out from doing this show because of a lack of help and then had a lot of back lash, so I expected to have a good amount of support this year. I have fixed (I hope) the document and would really like to have some volunteers sign up to assist with this show.

Great news!!!! We have filled all the roles except for Region 5 director. Please help me in welcoming all these wonderful volunteers and I look forward to seeing all the great stuff we will be able to do with getting this club back on track. I am very excited and really hope we get someone from Region 5 to help us with that part of the state.
