This Thursday, June 5th at 6 pm, join us at Harrison Hollow Trailhead or another Harrison Hollow First Thursday featuring a special presentation by Diana Burrell and Matt Clark, authors of "The Hiker’s Guide: Treasure Valley Dog Walks & Hikes."

Offered as a supplementary presentation for our larger trail etiquette series, this workshop will teach you the ins and outs of Advice on hiking with your dog, including etiquette, gear, safety, and helpful "in-fur-mational" tips.

Be sure to join us at Highlands Hollow Brewhouse before or after the presetnation, where every First Thursday they are donating 10% of every purchase back to the Land Trust of the Treasure Valley to support our management of Harrison Hollow

Matt Clark and Diana Burrell met on a trail - hiking with their dogs. They both have a deep passion for public lands, conservation, hiking, and dogs. They spent two years researching their book "The Hiker's Guide: Treasure Valley Dog Hikes and Walks" to find dog friendly trails in and around the Treasure Valley and promote safety and trail etiquette for people and their pets. Both Matt & Diana served on the Idaho Trails Association board focused on stewardship and trail etiquette. Currently, Matt works in ecosystem sciences and Diana works in conservation. Diana is also a certified Leave No Trace level 1 instructor.

It’s the final day of Idaho Gives, and we still have a long way to go to reach our goal — but with every dollar doubled through our matching gift, we can get there together!

We need your help not only to meet this dollar match, but to also match the pace of growth and change happening across the Treasure Valley.

The things we love most about Idaho — trails in our backyards, stretches of working farmland, wildlife as our neighbors — don’t exist by chance. They exist because people continue to choose to protect them.

But as this valley changes, that choice becomes more important than ever. Wildlife habitat is being fragmented. Agricultural land is disappearing. Trails and open spaces are becoming harder to access.

We need your help to keep pace of conservation against this change.
We need your help to protect what makes this place feel like home.

Donate to LTTV for IdahoGives by following the link in our bio, or going to idahogives.org!

🍺 And if you’d like to support conservation in person, stop by Highlands Hollow today! 10% of all purchases throughout the whole day will support our Idaho Gives campaign, and our staff will be there tonight at 5 pm to connect with the community, talk conservation, and share more about the mission of the Land Trust of the Treasure Valley.

We’d love to see you there. 🌿

What would you protect forever?

Trails close to home, outdoor education, wildlife habitat, native species, working lands...
Our list is endless, but they all have one thing in common: land.

Land that feeds, land that connects - and once it's gone, it's gone forever.

The things we care about only exist because people have chosen to protect them. Make your choice today by donating to LTTV on this second day of IdahoGives!

LTTV has been uniquely positioned here in the Treasure Valley— Idaho’s “banana belt”— where a special convergence of geology has created fertile soils, open landscapes, and working lands found nowhere else in the state.

These places are rich, rare, and increasingly at risk.

This IdahoGives, May 4-7, we have the opportunity to DOUBLE EVERY DOLLAR donated up to $20,000 thanks to our partners at Duft & Watterson. If we make this match, it'll be our most successful IdahoGives to date!

For 30 years, we’ve been protecting the places we love. With your help, we’ll protect them forever.

It's time for our 3rd annual Heritage Feast!

Dine next to farmers and producers, eat local produce and meat prepared by Boise’s very own Olive + Pearl, listen to live music by Charlie Sutton, and feel the breeze rolling through the plains. A night well spent!

This year, we’re hosting our dinner at Dude DeWalt Vineyards, one of the oldest vineyards in this state! While overlooking the rolling foothills, we’ll be supporting and celebrating local agriculture here in the Treasure Valley.

Your tickets are waiting for you here: https://secure.lglforms.com/form_engine/s/OkSvoRQbMQqYK0PqKpW5-g
