Wagon Tales

Wagon Tales We are bringing smiles to the kids in our local Boise children's hospital! Think of all the smiles we can create!!!!!!

Wagon Tales is a local organization that wants to bring some fun into the lives of children (all ages from infants to teenagers) who are spending time in Boise's local children's hospital! We are collecting donations of NEW books and board games to help pass the time the kids spend in their rooms. We have already met some incredible families and look forward to spending time with many more. We wan

t the kids in the children's hospital to see our red wagon coming down the hall as often as possible, so let's fill these wagons!!! We are looking to our community to get our name out there and join in the kindness of giving back!

No posts in a long time, but we are still here! As life goes, all three WT girls have been growing families and careers. Our mission in spreading joy has never changed and isn't going anywhere! For now, here is a simple way to help a beautiful peanut who is just starting her journey to health. These are the times we come together as a community to help relieve burdens so families can focus on what is most important. A simple click below can help do that. We hope your Christmas was filled with happiness and your 2017 brings nothing but amazing things. We love and appreciate you all!

It's getting hot out there!

It's getting hot out there!

With temperatures across Idaho expected to be near record-high levels today, it's important to remember that children are among the most vulnerable when it comes to heat-related illness and death. Some helpful tips:
--Keep your kids hydrated with lot of water (avoid sugary drinks, which can actually have a dehydrating effect)
--Stay indoors whenever possible, especially in air-conditioned places. Don't have air conditioning? Consider a trip to the local library or shopping mall.
--Give your kids a cool shower or bath if they need to cool off
--NEVER leave anyone (pets included) in a parked vehicle for any amount of time
