Bogus Basin Nordic Team

The Bogus Basin Nordic Team is a non-profit Nordic ski team for athletes of all ages and abilities in the Treasure Valley.

Bogus Basin Nordic Team is a nonprofit organization inspiring, engaging, and developing cross country skiers and biathletes of all ages and abilities through excellent nordic ski training and events. BBNT seeks to develop and support the entire Nordic skiing community and our programs provide opportunities for skiers of all abilities with the intention of creating lifetime athletes.

This year’s Bend camp had a lot less snow, but our comp team made the most of it with a fun week of training full of mountain biking, running, swimming, and driveway basketball

This year, BBNT is using your generous donations to drastically cut the cost of tuition for our youngest aged skiers.

✅ Our goal is to raise $10,000 to support our Lollipoppers and Youth Rec skiers.

Who says you can’t have fun in a low snow year?

Our Valentine’s Day race featured freshly baked and frosted prize cookies, and our Tour de Bogus race was a sight to see with some unique costumes 😂

It’s been a weird winter to say that least, but we haven’t been letting that get us down!

Two Bogus Challenge races are in the books for this season:

Our Skiathlon included the two youngest finishers ever, with May and Alice Dippo sweeping the 5-week old age category to secure the podium.

The Full Moon Skate did not disappoint, with athletes self-timing their efforts on a dark, firm and fast course and enjoying a potluck in the lodge after the race.

Big thanks to our athletes for bringing such great energy and enthusiasm into a tough season to be a Nordic skier in the west!
