WOW! SHARKFEST 2026 🦈 was CRAZY!! We had so much fun! Thanks to the motorplex_at_the_mill Apex Idaho SharkFest Car Show for letting us bring out the PAL Racecar! We love going to events like this to bring awareness to the community about PAL. Officer Moore is a huge help with PAL when it comes to the racecar. He goes to every event and loves to be involved in the race! We even got to watch our very own Officer Henson Micah on the track!

If you’re interested in a donation to PAL please see the link in bio on how to get involved! 🚙

SHARKFEST 2026 🦈 Boise PAL’s Officer Moore is a lifelong car enthusiast and for the past several years he’s served as both the SRO and Student Drag Racing Program Advisor at Borah High. So obviously he was also a natural fit to take over PAL’s long time Race Car program. You’ll catch him and the race car at events all over the valley and this morning he had a blast representing Boise PAL at SharkFest Car Show

The Aaron Butler Purple Heart Run has become one of our favorite events each year. Thanks to Sergeant Cody Evans, Boise PAL has proudly served as both a sponsor and participant since the first memorial race.
The memorial run is a meaningful way to honor Aaron’s life and legacy. Aaron lived with purpose, challenged those around him to become better men, and embodied the courage and commitment of a Green Beret.
As a longtime Special Operations Unit (SOU) team member, Sergeant Evans knows firsthand the sacrifice, leadership, training, and brotherhood that are essential to success—not only in operations, but in life. His teammate, “Mags,” was also a teammate of Aaron’s, making this memorial especially meaningful to Boise PAL. We are honored to continue our tradition of participating each year.
Each year, PAL sponsors its own squad of runners, pairing local youth with officers to take on the 5K together. This year, our PAL runners pushed themselves to the finish and earned 1st, 2nd, and 4th place in the youth 5K!
We couldn’t be more proud of our PAL runners and grateful to be part of an event that honors Aaron’s memory while recognizing the courage, sacrifice, and service of veterans at every level.
