This week, Micron announced Micron Research Labs, headquartered in Boise, with plans to invest $10 billion in research over the next decade.

The new research hub will focus on advancing memory and computing technologies while bringing together researchers, universities and industry partners. Combined with Micron’s continued manufacturing expansion, the investment further strengthens Boise’s role in the global semiconductor ecosystem.

From leading-edge manufacturing to next-generation research, the Boise Metro continues to be a place where innovation is built for the future.

We appreciate Brenda Worrell for sharing her perspective on building a people-first culture while leading one of the nation's fastest-growing credit unions. Thank you as well to Karena Gilbert and Peter Oliver for discussing the trends shaping Idaho's office and industrial markets, business relocation activity, and what they're seeing across the Pacific Northwest.

Today we're celebrating Beth Ineck, and five incredible years with Boise Valley Economic Partnership!

If you've ever worked with Beth, you know she has a slight obsession with Excel & Data!! If there's data to collect and organize, just know she's already halfway through building the spreadsheet.

Thankfully, that love of data is matched only by her passion for economic development. Over the past five years, Beth has helped strengthen partnerships, support business growth, and advance economic development throughout our region.

BVEP has been selected as one of just 14 recipients out of a record-breaking 30+ applicants for a Capital Matrix grant and we couldn't be more thrilled! 🎉

This $10,000 investment will go directly toward attracting foreign direct investment to the Boise Metro, supporting our mission to bring new businesses, jobs, and economic opportunity to our region.

Huge thank you to Capital Matrix and their board for believing in the work we're doing here in the Boise Metro.
