April recap: the BVEP team logged some serious miles. 🗺️
Tokyo. Little Rock. Sun Valley. Richmond. Washington, D.C. — our team was everywhere this month, making connections and making the case for Boise and Idaho as the next destination for businesses and investments.
Here's how it went:
📝 Beth & Katelyn kicked things off at the IEDA Conference — touring the State Capitol, the North End Zone Expansion project with Anderson Construction before taking in a day and a half of presentations covering economic trends, foreign direct investment, Opportunity Zones, and more.
🚞 Katelyn headed to Sun Valley for a Leadership Conference diving deep into AI in the workplace — from legal considerations to the future of education and workforce development. Great conversations, great connections.
✈️ Beth flew to Little Rock for the IAMC Spring Forum, joining corporate real estate leaders from across the country to talk site selection, portfolio strategy, and the future of business growth.
🗾 Clark led a sales mission to Tokyo alongside Andrea Cantor (City of Boise), Tom Kealey (Idaho Dept. of Commerce), and Micron. 15 meetings with companies in Micron's supply chain exploring Idaho as a home for their operations — plus a 100+ person reception putting Boise and Idaho front and center as a premier place to do business.
🌐 Beth closed out the month in Richmond for the Cushman & Wakefield Leadership Council before heading to Washington, D.C. for SelectUSA to push our FDI efforts forward. More to come on that one!
April was busy, but we always have time for a great conversation. Reach out & let's connect!
