AARPID Volunteers and Staff finished working earlier at the Idaho Foodbank, and continued their Day of Service, Sept. 8, with a fun activity that also has heart – pottery painting. The team used their artistic talents to paint bowls that were later placed in a kiln and fired to become glazed pottery. The bowls will then be delivered to the Idaho Foodbank for its holiday Empty Bowls program and sold during its online sale. Volunteers were also treated to a picnic as a thank you for their hard work.
