A few weeks ago, our community came together for Chalk the Walk, filling sidewalks with colorful messages of hope, kindness and connection.

Chalk the Walk is part of BroncoBOLD, a Boise State Athletics mental health initiative focused on spreading hope, building resiliency and encouraging conversations around mental health.

Through the BroncoBOLD High School Ambassador Program, students at Boise, Borah, Capital and Timberline High Schools are bringing that mission into their own school communities.

The chalk may wash away, but the message stays:

💙You matter.
💙You belong.
💙You are not alone.

🌱 Green Teams are making a difference at every Boise school!

Every school in the Boise School District has an active Green Team, with more than 1,500 Green Ambassador students leading projects focused on outdoor learning, energy conservation, and waste reduction & recycling.

Dan’s connection to Boise Public Schools runs deep - including a sixth-grade teacher who helped spark his interest in medicine. Years later, their paths crossed again, this time with Dan as his doctor.
