Jo knows that firsthand.

When her family needed support, they found a welcoming place to stay close to care and a community that understood the challenges they were facing.

What a wonderful week at Ronald McDonald House Idaho! 🥰

In celebration of our refreshed brand's launch, our amazing volunteers, board members, and committee members rolled up their sleeves to cook meals, clean, and lend a helping hand at our Ronald McDonald House: Boise and Ronald McDonald House Family Room: Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center (EIRMC).

We also celebrated with our families over cake and welcomed our hospital partners to open house events, giving them the opportunity to tour our spaces and see firsthand the impact of our mission.

We’re so grateful to everyone who helped make this week special and who continues to support the families we serve. Here’s to this exciting new chapter! ❤️

A story that captures what Family Stays truly means...

Yesterday, we celebrated the launch of Ronald McDonald House Idaho’s new brand! While our look may be new, our mission remains the same: providing essential services that remove barriers, strengthen families, and promote healing when children need healthcare. ❤️

At our launch party, the Lizarazo family’s story aired on Idaho Today on KTVB Channel 7, and Liam was SO excited to see himself on TV! Other House families gathered to watch, too. One little girl spotted Liam on the screen and exclaimed, “It’s Liam!!” Moments like these remind us that our House is more than a place to stay — it’s a community where families connect, cheer each other on, and share in one another’s journeys.

Six-year-old Liam and his family traveled from Ogden, Utah, to Boise for specialized surgery with Dr. Russell Griffiths. Born with microtia and no ear canal on his left side, Liam underwent an 11-hour procedure at Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center to create an outer ear and place a hearing implant. Liam and his family have been staying with us during this journey. Next week, he will get to see his new ear for the first time!

Family Stays. Because when a child needs care, families need each other — and we’re here to help keep them together. We offer more than just a place to stay, we offer support to help families stay involved and engaged in their child's care. We are here to help keep families where they belong: at the heart of their child's healthcare. ❤️

We’re so grateful to Dr. Griffiths for his incredible work and to everyone who makes it possible for families to stay close during challenging medical journeys.

We’re joining Ronald McDonald House locations around the world in an exciting new chapter with a modernized brand identity. This refreshed look reflects our mission to provide essential services that remove barriers, strengthen families, and promote healing when children need healthcare.

Our new logo features a heart, a reminder that families need to remain at the heart of healthcare. And our new tagline, Family Stays, reflects what we see every day. When a child is ill or injured, the whole family is affected and will do anything they can to stay near their child. We’re here to help families stay close when they need each other most.

In 2025, we served more than 2,400 families and provided over 9,300 nights of lodging. Every number represents a family going through a difficult time, and a community that helps remind them they’re not alone.

October 15 holds a special place in our hearts. ❤️

Today marks the anniversary of the opening of the first Ronald McDonald House, and one year since we introduced our modernized brand alongside our Family Stays platform.

Over the last year, Chapters around the world have brought our new brand to life, all while celebrating the families at the heart of our mission.

When a child is ill or injured, family isn’t just there for a visit. They stay for the long haul. Ronald McDonald House makes it stay that way.

This year's team includes healthcare professionals, Chapter staff, volunteers, corporate partners, and passionate supporters from communities around the world.

A big congratulations and THANK YOU to our 1,500+ Team Ronald McDonald House runners, volunteers, and incredible sponsors who joined us at this year’s Chicago Marathon as we celebrated the team’s 20th anniversary!

For two decades, runners have gone the distance with one shared goal: helping families stay close to the care their children need.

Childhood Cancer Awareness Month is a time to honor the children and families whose lives have been changed by cancer and to recognize all that families navigate throughout their treatment.

Cancer treatment can mean long drives, extended stays, countless appointments, and time away from home. Through it all, families should be able to focus on what matters most: caring for their child and being together.

At Ronald McDonald House, we’re honored to help families stay close to the care their child needs while finding comfort, community, and a sense of home – this September and every day. ❤️

Grayson was born early at 33 weeks and needed immediate surgery and specialized care. For nearly a month while Grayson was in the NICU, his parents, Paige and Jordan, stayed just steps away at Ronald McDonald House Louisville

"Being at Ronald McDonald House allowed us to be with Grayson in the NICU as much as possible," Paige says. "It was the biggest blessing to us on our journey."

At Ronald McDonald House Tampa Bay, Inc., Olivia and her team helped families get back-to-school ready with fresh haircuts. We're grateful to community members like Olivia who give back in meaningful ways, helping families feel supported and experience moments of normalcy during challenging times.

Once a Ronald McDonald House Family, always a Ronald McDonald House Family. ❤️

While Harlow and Hadley were in the NICU, the Rardon family found comfort and support at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Mid-Missouri. Now, the twins have made it a tradition to give back by volunteering at the House each year, even spending part of their birthday this year packing lunches and preparing a meal for families staying at the House.
