Ada County's Park at Expo Idaho opens in about three months, and it already looks amazing. This once-in-a-generation regional destination park has something for everyone.

If you’ve ever ridden your bike on the Boise River Greenbelt in Garden City and been perplexed when it suddenly ended, you’re in luck. Ada County is in the process of using a roughly $650,000 grant from the Local Highway Technical Assistance Council and the region’s planning organization COMPA...

Tuesday, May 19 is Election Day!

If you don't know your polling place, you can find it here:
https://gisprod.adacounty.id.gov/apps/electionday/ #/

Most of our Veterans Park Neighborhood votes at Taft Elementary, but neighbors north of Alamosa vote at True Hope Collister Church, and neighbors east of Veterans Memorial Parkway vote at Lowell Elementary.

Just a heads up!

There is a Disc Golf Tournament this weekend at VMP!

From the organizing group:

Hey neighbors! 👋
Just a heads up — we're hosting a disc golf tournament at the brand new course at Veterans Memorial Park this Saturday and Sunday, May 2nd & 3rd. We've got around 120 players signed up, including some of the best disc golfers in Idaho, so it's going to be a fun one to swing by and watch!

A couple things to know:
The park will feel a little busier than usual this weekend, so thanks in advance for your patience. The disc golf course itself will be closed to casual play both days while the tournament is running — but the rest of the park is open as always.

Come on out, cheer on the players, and check out the new course in action. Hope to see you there!

Safer Streets for Our Neighborhood

Traffic concerns, public transit options, and safe routes for students.

Join your neighbors for an informative and interactive conversation about how we move safely through our neighborhood. Local presenters will share information about traffic safety concerns, public transit resources through Valley Regional Transit—including new free ridership opportunities—and Safe Routes to School efforts that help students walk, bike, or scooter safely.

After brief presentations, there will be plenty of time for neighbors to ask questions, share concerns, and discuss ideas for improving safety and mobility in our community. Your perspective and experiences are an important part of the conversation.
