International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) Global Ties Idahobal

This month, the Ada County Prosecutor’s Office had the honor of hosting a delegation of prosecutors and justice professionals from the Gdańsk region of Poland, visiting Idaho through the U.S. Department of State’s International Visitor Leadership Program.
With support from Global Ties Idaho, the group spent time observing Idaho’s criminal justice system in action — including watching a trial unfold and connecting with Prosecutor Jan Bennetts and members of our team to exchange ideas and ask questions.
We were proud to share how we serve our community here in Ada County and inspired by the global perspective our visitors brought to the table. A powerful reminder: justice is a shared value, and collaboration makes all of us stronger.

📌 We recently welcomed a delegation of experts from Latin America who had the opportunity to meet with: Serena Rasmussen, from Wild Hearts Idaho, Mayor Debbie Kling from City of Nampa, Idaho, Jared Goodpaster and Ryan Peck, co-founders of the Boise Rock School. They also got to tour the DTEC-Dennis Technical Education Center with Principal Jeff Roberts, and met with Chief Deputy Douglas S. Hart, from the Canyon County Sheriff's Office.

😄😄😄Remember how we said there were only 24 hours left to visit the photo exhibit ??????
Weeeeeeeeell… we have news:
The person in charge of tearing down the exhibit got ill 😷🦠 😬which means we get to enjoy the exhibit for few more days!!!🙌🏽

Hurry! It will be in 📍Boise through, 👉🏽 Monday, June10. Come visit it before it’s really gone!
Also, we hope the staff member recovers soon…after the June 10 🫶🏽😺😸
