By March of 2009, it was officially registered as a non profit corporation (registered name: Idaho Japanese Association, Inc.) with the State of Idaho and has now grown t
o over 200 members. Throughout each year, the IJA participates in many cultural events throughout Boise to share our Japanese heritage and tradition such as โIdaho Japan Dayโ and our two event highlights: Japanese New Year Party and our Summer Barbeque. Thereโs a growing interest about Japan and many people are looking for opportunity to learn more. We are working hard to create fun events to experience Japan to our wonderful Treasure Valley community we live in. Mission Statement:
