My dear Cathy
Happy birthday in heaven sweetheart. Today as fall begins I look back on all the wonderful birthdays we celebrated together and smile. Even though you are no longer here with me, my heart still holds onto every smile, every laugh, and the incredible love and joy you brought into my life.
I miss you more than words can say. There are so many times when I wish I could reach out and hold your hand, or tell you about my day just to hear your voice. But today, I am choosing to focus on the blessing the time we did share was to me.You gave me a love that continues to guide and comfort me every single day.I know the angels are celebrating you today with all the joy you deserve. You will always be my greatest blessing. One day we will be together again. Until then, I am holding you close in my thoughts and loving you with all my heart.
Happy Birthday Sweetheart!

Mountain View Church of the Brethren
Mountain View Church of the Brethren in Boise is one of our newer partner agencies. They have been partners since 2024. When they first started, they were serving approximately 69 households each month. Since then, their impact has grown significantly and they now serve around 400 households monthly.

They operate a choice pantry with the help of dedicated volunteers who strive to create a welcoming and supportive community for every visitor. One volunteer has built a special connection with a South African refugee couple who began visiting the pantry after learning about its services. At first, they were unfamiliar with some of the foods available. The volunteer takes time to explain different items, suggest ways they can be used, and learn about their preferences so he can help them select foods they are likely to enjoy. They also work with a local transitional housing program, providing food to 40 to 50 residents each month. They use food that comes through Food Rescue donations, which helps meet the needs of individuals whose living spaces often lack access to a full kitchen. Mountain View Church of the Brethren is a great partner and has made a meaningful difference in the Boise community.

This is an awesome ministry we have.... thank you Lord! A blessing to the community members we serve and an even greater blessing to myself and all the volunteers who support the project. My heartfelt thanks go out to every volunteer!

Our SafetyNet Christian Academy program is moving forward!! Praise the Lord!
Today, after worship, volunteers gathered in the library to stuff 400+ envelopes with a printed letter to notify the local community of our Planning and Zoning meeting October 5. Of course pizza, snacks and drink provided. LOL
God is moving at Mountain View friends. Please keep this project, all those it will help and our church in your prayers.

Greetings everyone. What an awesome worship we shared today. There is no doubt the Holy Spirit was moving and God was praised and glorified!
It was our annual NFL day and we had a lot of fun, including tossing around a football and enjoying some Otter Pops.
This was also the Sunday we debuted our new AV system. Only one word comes to mind… AWESOME!
Praise and thank you God for you blessings and care of Mountain View. We are so truly blessed and we will be a blessing as we are called to be.
Next step, get back to posting our worship online and welcoming back all our family we’ve missed for so long! (more to come…stay tuned😉🙏🏻)
