Boise Bombers Wheelchair Rugby Team The Boise Bombers wheelchair rugby team consists of players from all over the Boise, Meridian, and Nampa, Idaho area.

The Bombers are a D2 wheelchair rugby team and are a member of the USQRA. The mission of the Boise Bombers is to provide a competitive outlet for quadriplegics in the Treasure Valley. The team’s goal is to develop physical strength, emotional health, teamwork, self-reliance, and provide a support network for those who have spinal cord injuries or disabilities allowed by the USQRA. The team current

ly practices at the Fort Boise Community Center 700 Robbins Road in Boise, Idaho. Practice days are Wednesdays 12-2:30 and Saturdays 1:15 - 3:45. All donations are tax deductible through the Boise Bombers 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

The Boise Bombers started Friday morning with one of players receiving a concussion when he was hit in the back, toppled backwards, and hit his head on the floor. The team battled well against the #1 and #3 teams but lost by narrow margins. Saturday morning started with Boise playing the #6 team and won by 5. That put Boise in the 3rd place game. Then Boise played the #2 team out of Houston. Losing by a wide margin. We will be meeting the Houston team again tomorrow morning and look to get revenge and bring home a trophy.

Bombers finished 3rd in division 2 beating WASA Lightning by 6. They beat us twice this season but we got the one that counted. CJ Brown won best in class 2.0 and Rio Kovac won MVP! Amazing season for the Boise Bombers!

Boise wins fourth game against MedSTAR. If we win our next game, we have a chance to make the championship game. But I think we have to win by four or more. To break the three-way tie.
