Idaho Sensory Support Collective

Idaho Sensory Support Collective a group run by neurodivergent people to provide sensory safe spaces to Idaho event spaces

08/30/2025

Effective immediately, Idaho Sensory Support Collective has made the difficult decision to officially close our doors. We have been grateful over the last several years being able to provide Sensory Support, materials and more to different events, spaces, and venues across the state. We’ve distributed well over 3,000 sensory kits since our founding way back in January of 2022 and I am so grateful for the opportunities, and experiences that we have been able to help with and the spaces we have helped make more accessible. The remainder of our earplugs, sunglasses, and fidgets will still be available and accessible this year for Boise Pride through the incredible Boise Pride Festival Volunteers. If you would like information, resources, or more details on how we’ve provided our services, materials, etc. Please feel free to reach out to me via DM, I will always love my time building, creating, and running the Idaho Sensory Support Collective, but unfortunately it is time to move on to new adventures and experiences. Thank you everyone for your support, your work, and your acceptance of our organization.

Thanks for everything, Tifa

Exciting News: ASL Interpretation for the Entire Festival!

We’re thrilled to announce a groundbreaking first for the Boise Pride Festival—this year, the ENTIRE festival will be interpreted live in American Sign Language! We’re committed to making our event accessible and inclusive for everyone, and this addition ensures that all festival-goers can fully engage in and enjoy every moment of the celebration. From performances to speeches, every aspect of the festival will be interpreted, making it a truly immersive experience for our Deaf and hard-of-hearing community members. Join us in celebrating this milestone and enjoy the festival like never before!

📢 Calling All Trans-Knowledgeable Trans Resources! 📢

We're building a comprehensive resource hub for the trans community in Southern Idaho on TransAffirm.org, and we need your help! Based in Twin Falls, our mission is to serve all of Southern Idaho by providing access to vital trans-knowledgeable resources. These resources are specifically related to TRANSITION CARE, not just fun places or groups.

HRT (Hormone Replacement Therapy)
Mental Health Care
Legal Aid

And much more!

We particularly need information from areas such as Burley, Idaho Falls, Pocatello, Boise, and other Southern Idaho locations to expand our list and better serve our community. 🏳️‍⚧️
