We meet every Sunday from 4-6pm at The Community Center (1088 N Orchard St, Boise, ID). In 1994, Idaho's LGBTQIAA community was forced into a political fight for its very future when they had to launch a statewide campaign to stop the anti-gay Proposition One. The initiative was narrowly defeated but Idaho's LGBT community was forever changed. One positive change was that, during the campaign, a l
arge number of LGBT youth and their allies came to the No On One offices to volunteer after school and on weekends. When the campaign was over, the youth had no where to go. So the Idaho Youth Project was started. Over the years the focus, name, and sponsoring organizations have changed into the Youth Alliance for Diversity - now a Project of The LGBT Community Center in Boise, Idaho.
