🐔 Microloan Update: Rodrick Farms! 🌱🥚

We’re excited to share an update from Rodrick Farms, one of the entrepreneurs supported through the Entrapov microloan program!

The chickens are growing and now they’re laying eggs!🥚🎉 What started with a small investment is helping Rodrick build a growing poultry business and create a more sustainable source of income.

One of the most exciting parts of this update is seeing Rodrick making his own chicken feed. By producing his own feed, he’s able to reduce production costs and keep more of his hard-earned income in the business. 💪🏾🐔

These updates are exactly why we believe in supporting entrepreneurs with access to small loans through Entrapov and the opportunity to grow their own businesses.

We can’t wait to see what comes next for Rodrick Farms! 🌱

Thank you to Andy Hawes for visiting Boise East Rotary Club and leading an insightful discussion about the difficult decisions facing our community schools. As education budgets face challenges at both the federal and state levels, it was valuable to hear about the realities our teachers, students, and schools may face in the years ahead.

What an incredible way to celebrate Rotary's Maternal and Child Health Month!

Boise East Rotary is proud to have completed our 2026-2027 District Grant service project with the Idaho Diaper Bank. Together, our members packaged more than 6,000 diapers in just 1 hour this Tuesday evening. These diapers will be distributed to families across Idaho through the Idaho Diaper Bank's network of community partners, including schools, churches, and other nonprofit organizations.

Since 2014, the Idaho Diaper Bank has been providing an essential resource to Idaho families, helping ensure that every child has access to clean diapers—a basic need that should never be out of reach. Fun Fact, diapers are not covered under government funding resources such as SNAP or WIC.

We're honored to partner with an organization that is creating a lasting impact in our community. At Rotary, we believe that even small acts of service can make a meaningful difference, and we're grateful for the opportunity to support the health and well-being of children and families throughout Idaho.
