WTS Southwest Idaho

WTS Southwest Idaho WTS attracts, sustains, connects and advances women’s careers to strengthen the transportation industry. WTS advances women in the transportation industry.

The Southwest Idaho chapter of WTS provides Treasure Valley women in transportation the opportunity to connect, collaborate, learn, grow and inspire each other. WTS offers professional programs, networking opportunities, and unparalleled access to government leaders and industry experts. WTS stands for Women's Transportation Seminar, which is how the organization was originally named when founded

in 1977 - at that time, women couldn't get subsidized for association memberships unless they were educational. But times have changed, and now joining an association is an opportunity for all women and men to work together and support each other. Today WTS seeks to close the workforce gap in the global transportation industry by promoting lifelong careers in transportation for women. By attracting, retaining, and advancing women in the industry, WTS International is one of the industry’s most recognized worldwide network of transportation subject matter experts.
