Sir Knights and Friends,

The Idaho Grand Commandery will be hosting a Zoom based virtual Christmas Observance on Friday, December 18, 2020 at 7:30 p.m. Mountain time. The flyer, with the Zoom login information, is attached. Sir Knights Robert Perry, Grand Prelate of the Grand Commandery of Idaho, and E. Jeffrey Craig, Assistant Grand Prelate of the Grand Encampment will be offering us some good Christmas cheer and messages.

Please join us as we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ and enjoy a bit of fellowship. We know this year has been both trying and unique, thus we are trying something new for this year's observance.

Since time is short, please forward this flyer and invitation to all of your fellow Sir Knights, Brothers, Friends, and Family members who you would like to see attend. Fellow secretaries, I would greatly appreciate your assistance in forwarding this to your membership.

Please remember that this is an official communication, so please dress and act accordingly. We will be offering the customary toasts during the observance, so make sure to have your favorite toasting beverage handy. This is a family friendly event.

I look forward to seeing many of you at the Observance.

Idaho Commandery No. 1, Knights Templar, held their CHRISTMAS OBSERVANCE on Sunday. It was a special time to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The attendance was good, the proper toasts were given and we sang. Everyone enjoyed the Sermon, refreshments and fellowship.

Recognizing the First Responders in our communities for the hard work and sacrifice they give is something the General Grand Council of Cryptic Masons International feels is important. We have therefore created a Medal and Lapel pin that can be presented to these everyday Heroes in our Lodges and Communities. The Medals are available to any Master Mason who is a First Responder along with a certificate. The Lapel Pin can be presented to a NON-Mason First Responder along with a certificate. The Lapel Pin may also be ordered for a Masonic Brother.

The only requirement is that they are or have been a First Responder and that the request for the award be submitted/signed off by a Cryptic Mason. The Medal and Certificate can be ordered for $25.00 and if you want to include the Lapel Pin it would be $30.00. For a Lapel Pin and Certificate for a non-Mason can be ordered for $15.00.

All can be ordered through the General Grand Recorder and the order form should be available on our website, crypticmoasons.org.

Take this opportunity to recognize those who risk their lives and go the extra mile daily on our behalf.
