Hey y'all! It's about to get rough!
Our Rough Rider spotlight this week is shining extra bright all the way down to Palm Springs on veteran Rough Rider, Ingrid and her pretty pony Cheyenne.
Ingrid lives part of her life in Palm Springs and joins up in the spring with her Rough Riders sisters when the weather gets warm.
Ingrid and Cheyenne have both been on drill team before; Cheyenne on The Snake River Stampeders and Ingrid riding at the Frank Bogardt Pro Rodeo with The Mane Event team.
finally coming together for thier past 3 years on the Rough Riders.
When they are not showing off in the rodeo arena with the team they enjoy western pleasure, buzzing flags and doing obstacle challenges.
Okay, Ingrid you're up!
Hello, my name is Ingrid.
My drill pony is a young overo paint quarter horse mare named Cheyanne.
I'm married to my best friend, Mark. I am also proud mom of my 29yr daughter and 16yr son.
I'm a registered nurse and work as an nursing educator part-time.
I've been a cowgirl for 14 yrs. I live the summer months in McCall, ID and my primary home for the rest of the year in Palm Springs, CA.
This year Cheyenne and I are working towards doing a fun four man drill routine at The Western Idaho Fair this summer and we would like to carry flags for different events.
We enjoy riding trails in the beautiful woods of Idaho and the mountains and Indian Oasis of Palm Springs.
I am so excited to start my third year with RR.
I very much enjoy riding with my drill sisters and love their friendship.💝
