Bank of America Makes Financial Literacy FUN! 🎉

A big THANK YOU to all the families who joined us last week for an educational session with Bank of America! Our families learned how to manage kids’ bank accounts, keep their money safe, and build healthy financial habits from an early age.

We’re so grateful for our partnership with Bank of America and their commitment to providing families with the resources and support they need to feel confident and empowered when it comes to their finances! 💙

We also had a special visit from the Chick-fil-A Cow, who brought plenty of smiles, laughter, and extra fun to the evening! 🐮💕 You could say it was a moo-velous event!

We loved learning alongside our families and helping kids build healthy money habits for the future. See you at our next family event!

Then & Now: The Legacy of the Downtown Boise Y 💙

For generations, the Downtown Boise YMCA has been more than a building. It’s been a place where friendships begin, children learn new skills, families grow stronger, and our community comes together.

As we look back on the Y’s history, we’re reminded that while our facilities and programs continue to evolve, our mission remains the same: strengthening our community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.

Now, as we prepare to open the doors to the new CapEd Downtown Boise YMCA on December 12, 2026, we’re carrying that legacy forward into an exciting new chapter.

Here’s to the generations who came before us, the community that brought us here, and all the memories still waiting to be made. 💙
