Inspire Excellence is a nonprofit dedicated to honoring inspiring Idahoans and supporting Idaho Youth.

Founded in honor of her son, SPC Nicholas Newby, who lost his life while serving in Iraq, Theresa Hart created Newby-Ginnings of North Idaho to ensure veterans, active military, and Gold Star families receive support with dignity and without barriers.

Since 2013, the organization has provided essential household items, food, clothing, furniture, referrals, and emergency financial assistance at no cost to those who have served and sacrificed for our country.

We’re honored to recognize Theresa’s impact and the meaningful work Newby-Ginnings continues to do for military families across North Idaho 🇺🇸

As a Title I teacher, she helps students overcome challenges, build confidence, and discover their strengths. Through hands-on STEM learning, she makes reading, math, and science engaging and accessible for every student.

Kayla creates a classroom where effort is celebrated, curiosity is encouraged, and every student feels capable.

Built in a time of crisis—now creating lasting impact.

Britt Udesen and the team at City of Good have transformed a moment of need into a movement of support for the Boise community.

Since 2020, they’ve delivered over 115,000 fresh, restaurant-made meals and distributed thousands of pounds of local produce and essential goods to children, refugees, seniors, and families in need!

A well-deserved recognition for leadership that continues to show up where it matters most!
