Congratulations to Matthew Hovey on receiving a Tools 4 Teens tool grant from Teens 2 Trades and D&B Supply! 🔨

Matthew recently began his electrical apprenticeship and is passionate about working with his hands while building something that will serve others for years to come. He'll use his tool grant to purchase essential electrical tools and equipment as he builds his personal toolkit and continues working toward becoming a journeyman electrician.

Some heroes don’t wear uniforms or seek recognition. They simply show up when others need them most.

When 89-year-old Bing Olbum went missing in Idaho’s backcountry, Kaden and Dylan Piva packed their gear, headed into the wilderness, and refused to give up. Their determination, selflessness, and commitment to serving others helped bring Bing home after 10 days in the mountains.

For stepping forward when it mattered most and embodying what it means to inspire, uplift, and serve, we are proud to recognize Kaden and Dylan Piva as Inspire Excellence recipients.

Since 2018, Kaelyn Rogers has been creating real impact through her nonprofit, Upward Inertia.

By bringing wellness, mental health, and personal development programs into Idaho correctional facilities, Kaelyn has helped more than 2,500 individuals build skills for a healthier future through self-advocacy, goal setting, non-violent communication, and real-world preparation.

In 2024 alone, the program served more than 850 students seeking pathways toward sobriety, mental wellness, and successful reentry into society.

Founded in honor of her son, SPC Nicholas Newby, who lost his life while serving in Iraq, Theresa Hart created Newby-Ginnings of North Idaho to ensure veterans, active military, and Gold Star families receive support with dignity and without barriers.

Since 2013, the organization has provided essential household items, food, clothing, furniture, referrals, and emergency financial assistance at no cost to those who have served and sacrificed for our country.

We’re honored to recognize Theresa’s impact and the meaningful work Newby-Ginnings continues to do for military families across North Idaho 🇺🇸

Built in a time of crisis—now creating lasting impact.

Britt Udesen and the team at City of Good have transformed a moment of need into a movement of support for the Boise community.

Since 2020, they’ve delivered over 115,000 fresh, restaurant-made meals and distributed thousands of pounds of local produce and essential goods to children, refugees, seniors, and families in need!

A well-deserved recognition for leadership that continues to show up where it matters most!
