The YTOB Foundation has developed a simple yet powerful model to support our mission and vision.
1. Provide 12-week scholarships to individual community members who are curious about yoga, have had yoga recommended to them by friends or a health care provider, or are currently without the financial resources to support their ongoing yoga practice. The YTOB Foundation is honored and poised to be an Accountability Partner to members of our commUNITY and support each other’s journey to self-improvement!
2. Provide grants for continuing education to yoga teachers established in the path of yoga and teaching to our commUNITY members. Our yoga commUNITY is only as good as the education and practice of our local teachers. Yoga teachers are dedicated and passionate individuals who thrive in educating and giving back through heart, passion, and intellect.
3. Partner with locally-owned studios to provide a neutral and accepting space for all individuals to practice. We understand that for people to successfully make yoga a healthy habit, studios need to be accessible through class times, offerings, and locations. In addition to accessibility, each studio has its unique ‘feel’ and it’s important that we all feel safe and accepted during our practice. Each participating studio will receive the funds awarded from individual scholarships, as scholarship awardees will get to select which participating studio they’d like to attend. Our Goal

We are committed to establishing this nonprofit as a vital local resource for individuals interested in pursuing a personal wellness practice through scholarship programs and community partnerships. By increasing the accessibility and affordability of yoga for all members of the community, we aim to educate and encourage individuals' physical and mental well-being through yoga scholarships and continuing education grants.
