IHBA Professional Woman in Building - PWB

10/15/2026

As North Idaho continues to grow, so does the conversation around housing.

How do we create more housing options for the people who live and work in our communities? What role does middle housing play in that? And what could it mean for the future of our area?

Join us for our October PWB Lunch as we welcome Ali Rabe with Gem State Housing Alliance and Maggie Lyons with Panhandle Affordable Housing Alliance for a conversation about middle housing, affordability, and the opportunities ahead for North Idaho.

Whether you're in the building industry, real estate, or simply care about the future of our community, we'd love to have you join us!

Join us for our October PWB event as we tackle a topic that impacts so many in our North Idaho community: housing affordability.

For many local families, buying a home in the community where they already live and work feels increasingly out of reach.

At our October event, we’ll hear from Ali Rabe, Executive Director of Gem State Housing Alliance, and Maggie Lyons, Executive Director of Panhandle Affordable Housing Alliance, as we dive into “missing middle” housing and how expanding housing options could help address the affordability gap in our area.

October 29 | 11:45 AM–1:30 PM

This conversation impacts our industry, our workforce, and the people who call North Idaho home.

What better way to wrap up PWB Week than by celebrating the women who make up our local PWB!

Yesterday we got together for our Women Behind the Hustle event with Shawn Anderson-DePue of Monarch Homes, and it was such a great reminder of why PWB matters.

It’s a chance to connect with other women in our industry, learn from each other, support one another and build relationships with women we may not have crossed paths with otherwise.

We’re so grateful for every woman who comes to an event, gets involved, brings a friend, shares her experience and helps make our PWB community what it is.

Thank you for celebrating PWB Week with us!
