We’re thrilled to celebrate the winning team of our 2025 Youth Innovation Challenge—Soil to Serve from Meridian Technical Charter High School! 🎉
As part of Boise Entrepreneur Week, this year’s reverse pitch competition challenged Idaho high school students to tackle real-world agricultural issues, exploring innovative revenue streams for one-product farms and creative ways to help small agricultural businesses better deliver their products and services.
Team Soil to Serve—Daysia W, Brady S, and Elias W—recognized that small-scale farmers often struggle to sell their full harvest due to limited time for marketing and distribution. Their solution? A digital farmers’ market platform that bridges the gap between local producers and consumers, allowing farmers to focus on what they love—farming.
The team was awarded $3,000, with $1,000 going to their school.
A huge thank you to College of Western Idaho and Micron for supporting Idaho’s young innovators!
