This year’s “25 in 2025” inductees represent the educators, leaders, and changemakers who have shaped the future of Family and Consumer Sciences across our state.

This weekend, we proudly rededicated the Miss Daisy Lewis Cottage at Camp John Hope in honor of Georgia’s first New Homemakers of America State Adviser, Miss Daisy Lewis.

The ceremony featured a reading of Miss Lewis’s reflections on Camp John Hope, the announcement of the inaugural Georgia Family and Consumer Sciences Hall of Fame inductees, and the unveiling of two rocking chairs dedicated in memory of Dr. Barbara Wall’s parents.

Miss Daisy’s legacy continues to live on through every student and educator touched by her lasting influence.

The annual Legacy and Leaders Luncheon brought together retired Family and Consumer Sciences educators and former FHA and FCCLA State Officers for a day of celebration, connection, and memories.

We’re grateful for the leaders who paved the way for today’s members and continue to inspire future generations of FCS professionals and FCCLA leaders! ❤️
