It’s Fair Week, but BOGALUSA HELP CENTER (Bogalusa Food Bank) WILL BE OPEN WEDNESDAY, October 21, 2026, FROM 8 A.M. TO 11:45 A.M. FOR DRIVE-THRU SERVICE ONLY. New and existing clients must enter our drive-through lane from 3rd Street only and stay in their vehicles. New clients must arrive by 11:30 am to register. 😷😍

To register/re-register at the Bogalusa Help Center, clients must provide the information listed below:

1. ID/driver’s license
2. Utility bill with your name on it
3. Date of birth
4. Telephone number
5. Food stamp card (if applicable)
6. SS or SSI letter showing the amount you draw
7. If you are working, you must provide pay statement
8. Name and birth date of all individuals in the household

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of Mrs. June Rayburn, who passed away peacefully in Texas in recent days.

Mrs. Rayburn was one of the founding members of the Bogalusa Help Center, and her contributions to our organization and community will always be remembered and cherished. Her legacy of service and compassion will live on through the work she helped establish.

We extend our heartfelt prayers, love, and deepest sympathies to her family and friends during this difficult time. She will be greatly missed. ❤️🙏

Mrs. June Rayburn is saying goodbye to BHC. Although she has not actively volunteered for a few years, she visits us every week. She was a volunteer with BHC from the very beginning…..over 30 years. She was one of the “founding
fathers” at a time when they hoped to at least be able to hand out a loaf of bread. She never expected to see the growth that is now BHC. At age 91, Mrs. Rayburn is moving to Texas to be with her daughter. We wish her well but we will surely miss her! A true servant!

🥫 PLEASE DONATE CANNED GOODS! 🥫

This month, our canned good shelves were especially bare. We had only ONE variety of canned goods available to distribute — one can of spaghetti sauce!

If you’re able, please consider picking up a few extra canned goods on your next grocery trip and donating them to the Bogalusa Help Center.

Every can helps! 🥫❤️
