Because we believe in the artist within each of us, we designed Inner Garden Creative Retreat Center and B&B. Through this sanctuary for artists, entrepreneurs, and holistic wellness professionals, we hope to connect guests with their creative hearts and with one another, nourish individuals and businesses, and provide personal and creative restoration and inspiration.

The summer’s hot in Washington Parish, the refreshers are mighty fine at Boga Coffee Co, and the words want to burn up the pages of your notebook.

Join us. for some Words to Brew On at Boga Coffee this Wednesday and next week on Tuesday.

In case you’re wondering, this is how it works:
• Order & settle in.
• Brief check in.
• Two to three timed generative writing practices. I’ll have prompts that you can respond to, or you can write whatever you want.
• Opportunity to share between each writing practice.

No fee, no expectations, and no worries about showing up. I’m just holding a door open for anyone who would like to try this and supporting locally owned coffee shops. If no one shows up, you’ll spy me at a table happily writing for about an hour. If y’all show up, we’ll probably write and share our way through 50 to 75 minutes. I look forward to writing with you.
