This isn’t just another radio show. It’s a journey back to the music, memories, fashion, movies, and food that defined the ’80s and ‘90s. It’s about remembering where you were when your favorite song came on the radio, who you dedicated it to, and the moments that became lifelong memories.

But Retro Rewind Radio is about more than nostalgia. Throughout each show, we’ll also highlight the incredible work The Purple Heart Project of Texas is doing across our communities and throughout the state—serving our veterans, honoring Purple Heart recipients, supporting Gold Star families, and giving back to those who have sacrificed so much for our nation.

Beginning August 2026, listeners can enjoy live interviews, call-in song dedications, inspiring stories, and plenty of unforgettable throwback music.

Again a friendly reminder that this Saturday we will be hosting The Purple Heart Project Tent Sale! That means ALL COMPADRES merch will be up for grabs, this is a way for us to raise as many funds for The Purple Heart Project. Donations, sponsorships for this year’s 7th Annual Gala, Purple Heart Parking Signs, and a raffle will be held with 100% of the proceeds benefitting our Purple Heart recipients and their families, along with Gold Star Families, and scholarships for our youth. Any amount is greatly appreciated, and we hope to have your full support this Saturday. Tent will be set up outside the front area of our parking, we will have our Purple Heart Project Volunteers and Purple Heart Veterans outside manning this station.
